Lucy Lavers Butterscotch Rum Liqueur will be launched at the Maritime Heritage Experience this weekend hosted by Curlew Coastal Charters . If you would like to pick up one of the first 48 bottles come along and see us at Tug Boat Yard, Wells between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. £4 from every bottle sold will be donated to the @rescuewoodenboats charity.

Lucy Lavers, former lifeboat and Dunkirk veteran restored and owned by Rescue Wooden Boats, has several chapters in her fascinating life story.

Lucy Lavers now lives in the working fishing port of Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, where she served twice as the town's relief lifeboat.

She gives trips and charters afloat from April to October (weather permitting) to the public, schools and other groups, acting as a floating ambassador to help people understand and experience our maritime heritage.
