Founded in 2012, Black Shuck Distillery is a Norfolk family venture built on passion, authenticity and a deep love of local heritage. What began as a family weekend and holiday past-time has grown into a thriving distillery producing an award‑winning range of Gins, Rums, Vodkas, Liqueurs and Schnapps all created with a touch of Norfolk magic.
The brand name is inspired by the ancient legend of Black Shuck, the ghostly hound said to roam the coastline and lanes of East Anglia. The omen of luck can be found weaving its mystery and folklore into every bottle filled.
Today, visitors can explore the distillery in Hindolveston, enjoy tastings, discover the legend, hear the family story from the founders and experience the warm welcome that defines the business. Whether you’re discovering a new favourite or returning for something familiar, the team are proud to share the spirit of Norfolk with every pour.

If you are using SATNAV please use postcode NR20 5BS which will take you past the top of our drive.
If approaching from B1110 proceed along Fulmodeston Road until you see Blue Tille Farm on your left. Keep going another 100metres until you see the Black Shuck Distillery signs at the entrance to the Distillery site. CAUTION: postcode NR20 5BP will only take you as far as a residential house. Please do not pull into their driveway.
